Fogashaz + Instant = hard to stay alive

Instant is must see bar in Budapest. It's also ruin pub, but the most psychedelic one I have ever seen. The old Instant which was located on Nagymező street was the biggest of Budapest's ruin pubs. According to information from their site there were 26 rooms, 7 bar counters, 2 patios and 7 dance floors. I did not check, but I dare not argue for there are a lot of them there. From March 2017 it was moved to Fogashaz building. The concept is still the same: each room has its own style, music, atmosphere. Even the symbol of this institution, an owl with a body of women and hoofs instead of legs and hares in harness, were moved to new place. In new Instant there are underground room with electronic music, r'n'b dance floor, stage for live performances, dance floor with pop music, rooftop terrace. In the same building there is another bar Liebling what has well designed bar areas and quiet rooms for chilling . Entourage place with psychedelic paintings and exhibitions. Minus - the legs still stick to the floor like in old Instant, in the summer you can lose your sneakers or flip-flops :) Fogashaz is still crowded place fro night out, has couple dance floors inside and one big in the garden area. Since it merged with Instant it provides a dreamlike experience for those who enter its surreal chambers, where revelers often twirl on the dance floor until sunrise. Tips before you go: - Take the ID with you, security guards can check it; - The line after 12-12:30 am is huge, you can spend one hour until you get inside, grab some drinks in the 24 hours shop before you go to the queue;
