Don't want to miss the best bars and party places? Here you are
Start from Deak Ferenc ter (students' square) around 7-8pm. In the warm season in the evenings the area is full of people who come here to sit, relax, talk with friends, drink, and sometimes even watch a football match. In the same area is the bar-club Akvarium, a good place to have a cocktail. So pre drinks can be grabbed either in Akvarium or some shop there.
Further the way will go through the most party street of Budapest - Kiraly utca (in translation - royal street). There are a plenty of bars, food places, ruined pubs, clubs, etc.
The next stop is Gozsdu Udvar - it's a little street between the buildings. There are many different cafes, bars, restaurants, game rooms, terraces on the roofs, murals. One of the most crowded place. There is quiet atmosphere in the afternoon (exception is the summer weekends), but in the evening starting from 8pm it's full of people who came there to eat, drink, take a walk, dance, smoke a hookah and just look at this magical atmosphere. My favorite places there: Blue Bird café (karaoke bar), Vicky Barcelona (Spanish bar, party starts from 11pm).
Follow the route to another ruin pub Fogas Ház és Kert. Here you can eat, drink, dance. The pub also combines the most craziest place - Instant, it was moved there since March 2017. Fogas and Instant together created the biggest ruined pub in Budapest, the place has different rooms, sometimes arranges concerts with live music, art exhibitions, theater performances, cinema evenings. There are couple dance floors with different music. The perfect place to finish the night. The queue after 12:30am is huge, plan your visit accordingly.
