Summer time on Margaret island
When the hot weather is coming here - Margaret island is one of the best place for relax, chilling and picnics. The whole island is like a huge park with different bars, beach club, Palatinus thermal baths, open air swimming complex, stadium, running routes, musical fountain etc. This year the area looks much more better compared with 2016, a lot of renovations were made also now the facilities includes umbrellas, loungers, toilets can be used by free. There are couple of bars I want to write about: Hippie Island, Steg Pub and Champs Sziget
Hippie Island - opened from 15th of June 2017, has big open air terrace with the view of Danube river and big umbrellas above the tables. The place has original hippie design, good good and drinks offers. Price for the beer starts from 380Ft for 0.3l
Champs Sziget - more like fan open air bar with lounge zone for watching football games. The place has amazing view of Danube river, parking space for bicycles and good lounge atmosphere. Price for the beer starts from 400Ft for 0.3l
Steg Pub - the smallest bar among these 3 places, but still it's very popular, the line to the bar is big in the evenings. The entrance is an ark what designed with blue bicycles also the decorations include old surf boards ans sea thematic.
